Rhombus Learning partnered with the Kenan Fellows Program to design the STEMwork Professional Learning Institute— both a blended and a 100% virtual learning experience that empowers North Carolina K–12 educators to build and sustain meaningful partnerships with local STEM employers. The program also provides a practical framework for translating these partnerships into classroom project-based learning opportunities.
All sessions were developed in Articulate Rise and delivered via Moodle, incorporating a dynamic mix of green screen video, expert interviews, Storyline-based interactives, infographics, multimedia content, downloadable worksheets, and VoiceThread discussions to support diverse learning styles and engagement.
To support effective implementation, comprehensive facilitator guides were developed that are aligned with each session, enabling consistent delivery and impactful learning across cohorts.
