Owner/Designer

Ruth C. Smith is the founder and solopreneur behind Rhombus Learning, bringing over two decades of experience in instructional design and learning strategy. Her work spans K–12, higher education, corporate, and nonprofit sectors—offering a deep, cross-disciplinary perspective on how people learn and grow. Ruth holds a Master’s degree in Education Technology Leadership from George Washington University and is known for designing engaging, results-driven learning experiences that blend innovation with accessibility and impact.

As a strategic learning partner, Ruth leads every project at Rhombus Learning—from initial consultation through design, development, and delivery. She frequently collaborates with a trusted network of designers, educators, developers, and learning technologists, assembling the right talent for each client’s goals.
